SMS / Text Messaging Program

ProStar Moving LLC operates an SMS (text message) communications program to correspond with customers and prospective customers regarding moving services. This section describes that program and your rights under it.

How we collect mobile numbers for SMS. We only send SMS messages to customers who have actively opted in through our online estimate request form at moversarlingtontexas.net/moving-estimate.html. On that form, the customer submits their mobile number and actively checks an optional consent checkbox labeled “Send me text updates about my moving inquiry (optional)” to opt in. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Customers who submit the estimate form without checking that box still receive their estimate, are contacted only by phone or email regarding their inquiry, and are not added to our SMS communications.

What messages we send. SMS messages we send may include: responses to your inquiries, moving quotes and follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders for scheduled moves, day-of-move logistics updates (arrival windows, crew arrival notifications), and post-move follow-up communications.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your stage in the moving process and the nature of your inquiry. You will typically receive a small number of messages related to each active inquiry or scheduled move.

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier may apply to any messages sent to or received from ProStar Moving LLC.

How to opt out. You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and will not receive further SMS communications unless you re-initiate contact.

Mobile numbers are not sold or shared. ProStar Moving LLC does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in information is used solely to enable the SMS communications described in this section.

We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to:
